Given that your playing against an old crazy chinese man and a young (which i interpret as inexperienced) player, i figure you four-raised with KdQk because you believed you were ahead that hand.
You were raising, as much as possible, on the flop and turn for value because you were holding the nuts.
When the board paired on the river, you checked, fearing your were up against trips and now a full boat.
*it is likely this naive young player was overvaluing a pocket pair preflop*
