I thought the river went check, check. If it was bet/call, you are right, I stand down. Ernesto did it again this morning.
40/80 O11 5-handed, Ernesto is HU w/James on the river which pairs the board, so the board is 37693, James checks, Ernesto checks and was the aggressor the whole time, Ernesto says, "one pair" and James mucks ATo face up but into the pot, the dealer scoops up his hand and MUCKS IT as Ernesto shows A4. Ernesto freezes for a bit and James says, "Wait, I win DEALER!" and Ernesto says, "give him the pot, he wins" and the dealer does.
F-d up situation but was glad to see Ernesto do the right thing.
