Hahaha, I do this all the time playing live. Except like 99% of the time when I say it I don't even remember what my cards were. Trips on board? After the hand I'll say "oh man I had X". If someone gets 2 outted and I think it will steam them then "actually it was a one outter, I had the deuce of unicorns". It's pretty fun and breaks the boredom of doing nothing.
