Well Delgado is a career: .280/.387/.552 hitter with an OPS+ of 140.
Right now, a little more than 1/3 of this way through this season he is at: .227/.299/.412 with an OPS+ of 94 (below average).
It's actually a bit of a drop off. But during May Delgado was: .273/.354/.495. And although his AVG and OBP have dipped again 10 days into June his SLG is up in June to .579 a bit better than his career slugging.
So yeah, he had a TERRIBLE April. But he seems to be picking it up and I'd be really surprised if he finished the season with a BIG drop off from his career averages.
