poker's not chess. there are no incomprehensibly subtle positional sacrifices in poker. at high stakes, esp big bet, the dominant determiner of success, I think, (once you get the basic fundamentals) is how patently fearless you are of losing gigantic amounts of money in the blink of an eye. who actually has the edge there?
