I have seen cheating many, many times in home games, raked underground games, at AJs, at Lucky Chances, at the WSOP, at the Bellagio -- and probably far more times when I didn't realize it. That includes card-peeping, best-handing, raise-signalling, flagrant card-marking, more subtle card-marking, repositioning to see others hole cards, signalled squeeze plays, chip placement signals, etc. I have never witnessed a cold deck being transferred into play. All this in spite of the fact that I am bad at paying attention to such things. It's obvious once you look for it.

Best thing that happened to my game in the past year was finally realizing who was thumbnailing the deck and watching him for a few games. He's not subtle, and yet he had several different techniques, all going mostly unnoticed.

Now I look.
