PokerTracker Datamining setup.

I break mine into quarters to keep the db sizes manageable.

So from June I started "PartydbMAIN"

Into this db I import all the hands that *I* play - and *only* the hands that I play.

I also have "PartyWATCH-June"

On the PT import hands thingy if you click the observed hands tab you can tell PT to import observed hands into another db of your choice while it imports the hand you play into the main db.

I Run each WATCH db for 3 months then start another.

In PA HUD in the preferences select which db's it should look at and make sure you haave it looking at both "PartyMAIN" and "PartyWATCH" and all the collected data shows up in the players stats. i.e. if you have 1200 mined hands on playerA and 127 hands played against playerA his HUD stats show up based on 1327 hands.

If you want to start a new db to play in and an new observed hands db to obeserve to you can keep the db you use now selected in PA HUD and you won't lose those stats from your HUD.
