Default Re: Anyone else hate limit?

am i the only one who can't stand the variance of limit poker? i feel like an idiot right now. i'm playing 5/10 sh @ party to try to clear this stupid acceler8tor bonus and the variance is just driving me nuts. i usually play strictly no limit and LOVE it because the variance is so small in comparison. at least when i get sucked out on in no-limit i can punish the guy with atrocious pot odds if he wants to hit his 2-outer. here at limit there's almost nothing you can do.

i'm running back to nl, bonus be damned. does anyone else feel this way about limit?

Im just the opposite. I cant stand NL. And for varience it depends on the player. My varience in SH play is probably a lot less than yours and your NL varience is a lot less than mine. Play only SH for a year or so and you will improve...a lot. Im sure I would too with NL....if I played NL or cared to....but NL has less varience overall...but then again why dont you play SnG's??? Even lower varience....Its more like what game fits you better.

5/106m should still be a fish fest though. Id suggest moving down to 3/6 if the swings are too much for you. Or you could always just buy like 100 party hats if you miss your target and sell them on Ebay
