Re: How often do you get physically annoyed playing poker?
I am to the point where things have to go badly for an extended run of hands for me to get upset about beats. (It was every session when I started playing poker.)
However, there was a stage in February where I ran so bad for so long that I punched the side of my own head and desk so much that am pretty sure I gave my right hand a stress fracture. (It never got diagnosed because I never went to the doctor's, I mean, do you really want to tell your doctor that playing on-line poker makes you hurt yourself?)
Live poker I am pretty good, but one time, some kid at the Borgata sucked out on me for close to a grand in the $1/$2 NL game and then taunted me, I am not sure how long I saw red, but for the next 30 minutes all I could think of was following him out to parking lot and curbing his teeth.
