Default Re: Anyone else hate limit?

I can count one about one hand all the winning limit players I have seen.

I can say that I have seen many more adept NL players than I have seen in limit.

I can say that it took me FAR less time and thought to become winning at NL than limit.

I have seen winning NL players who get creamed at limit, but seldomly the other way around. Why? Because you can be a weak rock-rider at NL and still beat many of the fish.

Sorry, NL is easier than limit IMO-- I think that NL-only players are on an ego trip.

I still prefer Limit because the art is so incredibly subtle, the losers have no clue how much I out-class them. NL is so in-your-face, that it is obvious. Ie. better action at Limit.

And yes, NL players, you can protect your hand in Limit, if you don't know how, you are not a good poker player.
