not to derail the topic but as a diehard knick fan, those bulls teams had a much tougher time against us than against any other team... even though on paper we were outgunned talent wise...

and almost all of the knicks series went at least 6 or 7 games because if the other team were better talent wise, like jordan's bulls, they'd slow the game to a crawl... and if they were better, their poor shooting, from 3 or the foul line kept things close... when the pace is that slow and the score differential that close, a lot of things can happen due to variance...

imo, the 2nd iteration of those rockets teams would have given any of the bulls teams a run for their money... hell, the magic disposed the jordan comeback bulls fairly easily and the rockets swept them...
