If there's no reason you think she's planning on coming back this is an easy steal...even if you aren't broke. If she ever comes back and asks for it and you have money at the time you can pay her back and say, I figured you didn't care about it or whatever. Going to the bank anyway and change it up story doesn't make sense imo as nobody would ever do that.
Furthermore, if you are this short on money, I'd seriously suggest cutting off the internet payments...1) to save money, 2) so you won't gamble anymore.

Yeah, nothing else in the drawer of any note, no personal items. The only situation in which she might come back would be to say hello/go for lunch with a friend who's still working here, but that girl is now in another department. So yeah, easy steal but it would look really bad if she did remember and ask someone to pick the coins up and they weren't there.
