But I've heard good things about a Bridgestone ball -- and I've started to see a few around the course. Anyone got an opinion on those?

I've used the B-330 several times and liked it quite a bit. It doesn't easily scuff and spins like the proV1x

Based on the recommendations in this thread, I've played the Bridgestones for my last 2 rounds and like them a great deal ... compare favorably with the Pro-V and price is of course better.
