Yes, that was an amazing year by Hakeem. If he had done that a few more times he'd definitely be in the top 5 discussion(and as is, hes still getting mentioned). I do think the fact that Jordan was retired hurts his case a little bit though.

So how many of Duncan's rings came when Jordan was not retired? One of Duncan's rings came in a year when more than half the regular season was scrapped becaus of the lockout, which is more of a "diminishing" factor IMHO. Do you think any of the Spurs teams would have beat the Bull's with Jordan (Hakeem would have had to in order to "do it a few more times")?
