Re: Things NITS do...
[ QUOTE ]
Here are some things nits do:
- Complain about open seats after the floor has already been called.
- Ask for new deck setups when there is no evidence of marks on the cards
- Complain about ratholing in a limit game
- When the first arrive at the table, sit out the blinds and post immediately after the button has passed them
- Change seats at a table more than once
- Complain about table talk that is neither collusive nor reveals private information
- Sit out entire downs just to earn a comp dollar
- Tip dealers or waitress with loose change
- Immediately get up from the table if it falls to a certain number of players
- Stare at their hand for a long time before tabling or mucking at showdown
- Ask a dealer to break down down/color up chips at inconvenient times
- Call for a misdeal after an inconsequential dealer error
These types of players also tend to play tight, but it is the above behavior that makes them nits, not the fact that they play tight.

Good post!
Also:
-invoke "i want to see what you have" at showdown, esp. when not in hand
-keep track of missed blind buttons of other players for dealer
-not always, but often they will critisize others play: How can you raise with AK preflop? It is a drawing hand.
-try to get others to turn over cards first at showdown
-knows how to get free parking, where the 2-1 coupons are, etc. (this can be quite handy if you need to know)
-will complain about a bad beat from years ago that was "similar" to the last hand
