zomg This Is My Now sucks balls. Agree with joker, Waking in a Dream is pretty catchy, I can see a Carrie Underwood making it a hit. I also think a singer like Taylor Hicks could make something out of a song like Someday. Secrets and Lies started out promising ("she raises the blinds") til I realized it wasn't about poker. Most of the songs on the page I couldn't stand for more than 15 seconds.
I'm kind of disappointed in how the songwriting competition has been handled. I'd rather see them narrow them down to maybe 10 finalists and then have the top 10 singers perform them, and then let us vote. Instead the whole thing seems like they've been trying to hide these songs from us.
