Whether you choose to believe me or not, the factors of that circumstance rendered it basically impossible that I would hit them. Mostly the fact that we were on an elevated tee, I am a good golfer, and there's no trajectory I could have hit from that spot that would have hit them. They'd be just as likely to get hit by an asteroid.

You know what, this is one of the situations where someone does something rude, and then someone else can't stand it anymore and then THEY get branded the a-hole because they had the nerve to do something about it. Those dicks were doing something they had to know was rude (this garnered from the seriousness of their round and the ability I perceived while I watched them hole after hole) and still didn't care. Eff them. Eff 'em. I'm glad that I pissed them off.

I've never before nor since gotten into a serious confrontation on a golf course and hope never to again, but I refuse to shoulder the blame for their lack of etiquette.
