Training exercise, I was in the trailer we were using as a headquarters. I noticed they must have raised our threat level because I had a magazine in.

The rifle was fine against the table, it was still within arm's reach, which your weapon should never leave that distance from you. I ususally kept it on the other side of the table next to me but you are getting an action shot.

youtalkfunny, Colt is exactly right on how it works and even with the BFA on the end there is still a safety distance you must follow when firing the weapon toward another individual. You have to treat every rifle in your hands as if it were a real one, even the solid rubber ones that are used, it's never a toy.
