Default Re: Things that annoy you about your fellow golfers

Anytime somebody uses any cliche or saying after somebody else hits a bad shot.

When people say "good shot" to a bad one. This is more understandable than the cliche person because it usually comes from people who are happy with a 150 yard drive that is higher than 2 feet off the ground. Still can drive you nuts when the pull hook ends up under a rock or tree and they say good shot.

As others have mentioned, there are a lot of problems with carts. But the slow walking and screwing around getting to them and in and out of them can really drive you nuts. When I see people meandering to their cart then taking forever to put the 13 clubs they pulled out back, then slowly sitting down and getting their ass adjusted to the seat just right, then doing the u-turn they need to get to the next hole, well it drives you nuts. I think every slow playing hack who likes to take a cart should be forced to walk 9 holes with a fast play instructor. Maybe an 85 year old Scottish woman or something. Learn how to shoot 75 for the 9 holes playing in an hour. Once you do that, you can then maybe figure out how to get in and out of a golf cart and get off of a green to the next tee in less than an hour.

Also as to carts, any fancy rims or fenders and grills and such. I can even tolerate the covers for people in bad weather places, but the rims Rolls Royce grilles and whatnot need to go.

Those sandal golf shoes have to be banned.
