Some nitpicks:
1) It doesn't make any sense to use an underwater station to jam the transmissions. The attenuation of sea water is so great that normal radio frequencies can't really penetrate it. That's why
communication with submarines is a difficult task.
2) Setting off dynamite by trying to shoot it in the dark doesn't seem to be a really smart idea.
3) Why would a radio tower use the same transmission frequency as a satellite phone?
4) Why would the distance to the ship matter when you are using a satellite phone?
