Default Beating Tight Games

Most begginners figure out that they can win in mirco fixed limits by playing very tight poker and without bluffing. This is very easy ánd it works. However when going up in limits this seems to be clear to everyone else so things are slighlt complicated. What hands should be reiase preflop? Should on try to limp with more hands and play tighter post-flop, or tighten up pre-flop. Also making occasional plays such as check-raise bluff against one opponent. Discarding suited connectors and small pairs? In other words how do you go about beating tight games?
