Re: Tilter\'s Annonymous. All tilters welcome.
I wanted to add to this that I've also hit a pretty harsh break even stretch lately. It started w/ a downswing though and I seem to be having more and more sessions that I end up a loser or my wins are marginal. I also feel like I've played fairly well during most of these sessions.
I'm starting to wonder some of it may be due to my underestimating how the U.S. legislation has affected the games. They percentage of the poorest players has certainly gone down, which would make it harder to post normal win rates due to folks not paying you off as much on your big hands, and also making smarter plays against you.
That fact might also induce tilt quicker than normal during a session since you're more likely to start yourself in a hole due to better than previous competition on average.
Strangely for me, the Absolute 6M games have been easiest for me lately. I also play at UB and FT. They are crazy aggro, but I just call down heads up a lot, and I mean a lot more. I'll win w/ ace high more often than I expect to.
Sustaining your A game as long as possible is probably a top skill to have right now w/ the texture of the games as they are.
