You might not be happy in the long run with chips that have imprinted denominations. I have been using heavy clay, solid color chips- same set for about 30 years. The only thing I would change is I bought a 5 color set. Mostly use 3 colors but sometimes use 4. As far as weight or solid color vs multi color. I think thats just personal choice. Composite vs clay? Meh. I like the heavy clay chips myself.
