I agree with everyone who said that it's unethical. I especially agree with what ElD said about being harsh on those who cheat. I agree with everyone who said his response was poor. However, I challenge people to say to me with a straight face that it is not entirely understandable what ZJ did.

Who's saying it isn't understandable? Of course it is. People are saying it's reprehensible. And many people here don't have the opportunity to cheat on quite the same scale of money, but could still cheat (without ramifications, according to your argument, though it's clear that getting your money confiscated is a rather serious risk) for thousands of dollars. So I don't think that argument really holds a lot of water, and since you're saying it makes sense to be harsh on him, I don't really see what you're getting at.
