You think if David Chase reads stupid posts like this he wants to just bang his head off his keyboard for about 20 minutes? I mean, he takes these scenes, makes them plain as day (obv. he's trying to say that Tony realizes that if Crissy lives he'll be a liability not only to the Family but to Chris' own family as well....so even MORE reason to kill him), and then people STILL take it the wrong way. Chase must be thinking, "Why do I even bother?"

Part of Tony's fascination is that despite his attractive personality, he is a cold selfish bastard. A normal reaction on seeing a crushed baby seat is relief. When Tony attempts to unburdon his guilt by mentioning the seat to Carmela, he doesn't get the reaction he anticipates. Her reaction is a counterpoint to Tony's twisted self-justification.

If you think that Chris was murdered in any part because he would have been a liability to his daughter, I'd suggest YOU have missed the point and it's people like YOU who would make David Chase bang his head on his keyboard.
