whenever I argue about baseball with my unenlightened friends I am always the one saying "you guys dont know what youre talking about, its just a small sample size". Always. Abreu is one of the best walking hitters around, and he goes 58 ABs without a walk.
Does anyone want to make a prop bet on what his obp will be from here on out? I'm willing to bet that over his next 145 ABs his OBP is not as high as his career mark.
