I wouldn't take your line every time (there are other reasonable options), but it is a valid one.

FWIW, I would probably open-complete the K7s versus someone who had been running me over recently. This allows Villain to raise any two and then sometimes steal the pot from me later, I'll admit, but at least the pot he's stealing won't be all that big, and it gives me some potential to trap, and I also don't have to worry about what the hell his 3-bet does or does not mean when it comes (you won't always flop as nicely as you did in this hand, and getting pushed off the best unpaired hand after investing 1.5 BB preflop is worse than getting pushed off of the best unpaired hand after investing 1 BB).
