Even the most remote possibility that multiple entries could be seated at the same table during the course of a tournament makes arguing in their favor completely illogical.

Turn the tables. Invite multiple entries. Make a rule that if multiple entries end up seated at the same table, at any point in the tournament, the largest stack is immediately eliminated; if more than one multiple entries are simultaneuosly seated at the same table, all but the smallest stack are immediately elimininated. I doubt that any multiple entry player would play under such rules by simply discounting the affect of the rule based upon the "remote" chance of being seated at the same table.
