Default Re: Full Tilt Poker Mods Table Chips Avatars Etc.

This might be a more of an answer than you were expecting/looking for. Keep in mind, that I am no PS expert. I haven't had any classes. In fact, I PM'd Yak with some pretty basic PS questions, and he was kind enough to help me, with out laughing in my face Hopefully this will make sense to you. I just edited the default card png's that come with the FT client, for the CardRunner Logo's. I often have to make sure that the PNG's are in 8-bit mode (not 16), and in RGB (not indexed). I then save that PNG as a PSD.

I will do any mods, add layers, turnoff layers, turn on or off patterns for card backs. Once I have the PSD set up visually the way I want the PNG to look - I do a Save As... (to a new folder such as 5.0 for example) and call my new PNG - cards3.png.

I then close all my PSD files, and open my new PNG in PS. I then use image size, and then save as cards2, 1, 0 then i step backward to the 700x420 size, and use image size again to create cards 4-6. The cardsmall file I create by merging layers in my cards3.psd, then I drag those layers into a different copy of the same psd file (cardsmall.psd) and re-order them so the hand re-player will work. Once it is all aligned, I save the psd, then Save as... cardsmall.png. This file is 700x420, so i open the new cardsmall.png that I just made, resize it to 407x259, and then save a copy of the smaller png to my new folder

When starting from scratch I use a layout PNG, and make a PSD, build the cards, using a lot of layers, then do a save as.... png. Then I resize for the other decks.
