Re: a few things worth considering regarding ZeeJustin
CSC,
I agree with your logic 100% about the golden eggs. I remember a while back I was planning to open a new account under someone else's name for RB purposes (closing the original account, mind you) and you made some points that made me decide not to.
BUT, it really shouldn't suprise you that this happens. One of the main qualities that many very good poker players share is a deep competitive streak. It is the same in many disciplines (I see a lot of it in finance). The people who are the most successful, are more likely than the average Joe to step passed the line to get an edge. I have seen cases of 50 yr old men with great jobs, and families to worry about break laws for a profit that could never be more than 10-20% of their yearly salary.
Why? I don't know. It is illogical, but I bet that many of the 'rule breakers' never would have been in the situation in the first place (meaning a worse job to begin with), if they didn't have that desire to push all of the edges.
This doesn't make any of this stuff right. I just like to try to understand people's motives, and linear logic, isn't going to get us there in this case.
