I'm waiting for people that live together to get owned. then I am going to get really pissed off.

Yeah, how do they prevent two honest roommates from getting screwed?

The satisfaction of the millions who DONT play on a router with a roomate is FAR more important than the few who do,...

Call me cynical, but I dont want to be playing against ANY 2 or more people who are on the same IP together.

This is a little unreasonable don't you think? I live with 3 other guys, 2 of which play online MTTs quite regularly (as do I).

I'll go days w/o even speaking to these roommates. Just because we live under the same roof doesn't mean we're close friends looking to collude in an MTT.

Sometimes in an MTT, I'll have one of my roommates message me an hour into the tournament saying "hey I just saw the tournament lobby and realized we're both in [x] MTT, good luck". Should we have our accounts locked and funds seized for this? C'mon man...

No, but I think all a reasonable person is asking for is for party to watch you guys a little more closely. And it would be nice if their seating kept you guys apart as long as possible.

I think he means that if you absolutly had to pick, err on the side of being overly harsh w/ people who play on the same IP for the good of everyone.
