Default Re: Tricky hand in 400 NL at Commerce, facing crazy overbet

you have to bet the flop. You took a horrible line and now you are stuck in this mess.

OK, pot is $200, let's say I bet $150 and he reraises to 400. What do I do?
reason why I checked flop is because if I bet and get raised, I will still have no idea where I'm at. he could raise with the nuts, or with a good draw. And he was an aggressive and tricky enough player that on that flop, if I bet, I would almost expect a reraise. Betting the flop seriously has almost no good plus side. There is no info to gain.
