Haha yeah I think everyone has been guilty at one time or another, of thinking they are really smart (when in actuality very few people are).
Someone noted they like to ridicule / mock dumb people who think they are smart... why? Seems like such a waste of energy - what thrill does one get from doing that?

Yeah, that's pretty much shooting fish in a barrel.
That noted, some people really do groove on it. But probably the dumber and more screwed up among us. Dumb people find it a greater and more unusual triumph to be smarter than someone, and screwed up smart people feel the need to put down less capable people more than do people who are simply smart but less screwy.
