You download the youtube / google vide .flv file:

Then you convert it to mpg with the free riva flv encoder:

Then you use Gimp (

http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/) 'Xtns --> Split video into frames' to extract from the video. Create a single multi layered image. Save as .xcf . Reduce canvas to some quadratic size _without_ width and height being linked. Scale image to 80x80. Save as gif.
