This kind of argument is sickening. I actually believe it is YOU who is disgracing fallen troops by trying to stifle reasonable discussion about the war.
No one is trying to underplay the great job the armed forces do in extremely difficult circumstances. However, that has nothing whatsoever to do with a view of the administration which took us into the war.
You have been fed the line that arguing against the war is anti the troops in Iraq. These two viewpoints are not mutually exclusive. One can (obviously!) support the troops and yet be vehomently against the war.

The ability (or lack of it) for many to make the distinction that you've noted is not new.
We haven't even come close to the divisiveness that this issue caused during the Vietnam War era in the US.
It's truly sad how many people see things in such a 'black & white' manner.
