trigger it all depends on what kind of game you construct ... If you run a snaredrum tight aggro rocksolid game like I did last month, you will actually not need to float ... only to adjust your 2nd barrel frequency.

If you run a looser game, then well ... actually there is not much theoretical about playing all the FPS style stuff, it just takes good reading

Gelford,

Thing is that with my current competition I can run 22/17, which is not overly loose but looser than the style you mentioned.

My hands that I miss but cbet are probably close to break even but still positive because current villians are not aggro on the turn either and allow me to suck out. I rarely second barrel with air.

My big hands make me a lot of money because of my frequent cbetting (villians realise that they are beat when it's too late).

I suspect that with moving up there will be a point where I won't get away with that style anymore. All it would take to beat me right now would be to 3bet pre-flop or to float me mercilessly. Of course, eventually I would adjust and figure out things to counter that strategy but I'd also like some theoretical foundation for that.

You provided some of this foundation in your video when situations came up and I think it might be possible to go for a more abstract level by not taking situations as they play out but by trying to find ways to categorise types of situations into groups and then analysing them with respect to:

<ul type="square">[*]What opportunities these situations might present to us and what they probably won't[*]How much we could bet/raise[*]What we want to happen if we bet/raise[*]How sure we have to be that this would be what happens[*]What to do if it doesn't happen[/list]
Not sure if I can get accross what I mean but I'm still stuck in even finding these situations at all because I don't know what to look for.
