3 or 5 whatever you want really. 5 will allow you to get a "longer" run at it. But if you lose 3 buyins at any level, you NEED to ask yourself if it was bad play or coolers. Dont lie to yourself. I do this on a daily basis at my normal stakes, and even moreso when I move up.
