OP,
Your bet sizing is WAY off. You need to address this immediately before you progress as a player. A very general rule of thumb is a 3bb raise (+1bb for every limper) preflop and a 1/2pot - potsized bet on each street.

You should try using that standard as your base and then you should adjust your play dependant on stack sizes and other factors.

My best advice to you would be a strict adherance to that betting system while reading the forums to learn about the exceptions to those rules.

You also might want to read the anthology sticky atop the MTT page as there is a wealth of information included in those threads.
