I just checked out Giada's show. She earned my vote.

Appearance aside, she also gets points for not treating the viewer like a total dunce. Only two comments made me laugh. While making a tomato and mozzarella salad, she told me to use fresh basil as opposed to dried because it has more flavor. Then after grilling quarters of romaine, radicchio and belgian endive, she said that she likes to chop them so that it's easier for her guests to eat.

I will be on the lookout for a grilled salad this weekend. It's been a while.
