This is niether here nor there, but I thought that SNY did a really good job with the broadcast of last night's game in Philly. I thought the banter from the booth was particularly enjoyable, and the analysis was pretty good, too. They did a nice job of showing relevant replays (such as baserunners reacting to developments in the outfield), even when the commentators were talking about something else.
There was also an excellent clubhouse interview with Tom Glavine. No clichés or questions about "how he feels," just good, nuts & bolts stuff about which pitches were hard to throw in the blustery cold and why, and pitch selection over multiple trips through the lineup. (Incidentally, Glavine has his head on straight and is a pleasure to have on the team.)
All in all, it was a Mets game that gave me the warm fuzzies inside. Hope they keep it going tonight. . .
