Yeah, suckouts happen. I'm having a very bad run myself. Worst I've ever had in my career actually.

However, yeah there's more to playing poker than cards. Emotionally self control is a hugggeee part of playing professional.
If I'm tired, been drinking, upset or hungry I don't play my normal limits. I drop down at least one level.
Not going on tilt when you take a huge hit or multiple hits. Or knowing when to logoff when you need to.
Playing LESS tables than you can handle. I know you can maybe keep up with 10-12 games at once, but your winrate will triple playing half that.

Avoiding good players. Chasing bad ones.

Dropping down when running bad.

Keeping your poker life seperate from your real life.


I'm sure you've heard all this crap before, but I'm pretty sure that's where you're going wrong.
If you're winning big enough, you can have 5 sets cracked in a day and still be ahead a decent amount.

stop whining about how bad you run. Very few, IF ANY, care.
