It seems like FT is only allocating a certain small amount of space for cards then. I know next to nothing about computers, but it doesn't seem like this would be fixable.

Yeah I'm not sure about how to fix that either. Fortunately, it doesn't really bother me that much now, but I haven't actually started playing yet. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Back on the gray writing: You could just edit the background image you have so that there just black in those corners, so you just have the gray writing and not a bunch of garbled text.
