Default Re: Virtual Prepaid Visa

The way I see it, none of these are worth the trouble or fees anymore. I had two perfectly fine experiences w/ giftcards.com when they allowed a $500 virtual card for a flat $2 processing fee, and later a physical card loaded w/ $500 for a $6.95 shipping/handling fee. Later, I tried simon.com for $300 + $2 fee and that was a disaster. Ultimately got the order canceled so no harm done, but was still frustrating. Now, it's all this "what works and what doesn't?", and the most reliable cards are what, the Walgreen's ones that have a $4.95 fee for only $100? Not worth my time.

I haven't been comfortable having more than $1.5k in any poker account since all the NETeller crap went down, so whenever I reached $1.5k+, I'd cash out $1k+ and have only $500 left (back in the Stars courier days for checks >$1k). Variance was going to bust me w/ the limits I played, but I knew that going in and was willing to do it over and over again w/ the minimal fees (wound up only being two rounds). Now it's just ridiculous and I'll resort to paying a friend some vig + cash/check in return for a p2p transfer.

Call the way I handled it whatever you want, but after going back to B&M my last 3 sessions, I realize just how easy those games can be in comparison.
