Re: Bledsoe Retires
When I was 10-12 (I don't remember exactly) my older brother (half-brother technically, he was 25-27) had met some people in the Pats organization including Bledsoe through connections he made at work. He remained in contact with Kraft's nephew (I think) and was given a ball that was signed by almost everyone on the team, excepting Bledsoe and a few others. Bledsoe lived in my home town, and one time while visiting from CA, where he was living, my brother got a great idea. After my soccer game he took me to Bledsoe's house, knocked on the door and basically said "Hey Drew, we met that time, remember, wanna sign these for me and my little brother," handing him two posters. Drew was really cool, signed them, and talked to us for a few minutes. Always loved Drew, but I'll agree it was time for a change when Brady stepped up.
