The reason for folding is that it's a classical reversed implied odds situation you can avoid cheaply. You may be ahead for several reasons, but -in my opinion- it's more likely that you are behind. And if so, there's little chance to make them lay down a better hand, even if you make a big raise here.
And even if you're ahead, you might win a small pot, but there are really no hands that might pay you off here.
