Teams like Oakland and the Twins are teams as I feel bad for (as a Yankee fan)
When Mets, Redsox or Dodgers fans wanna talk to me about the Yankees payroll I laugh. If a Royals or Pirates fan wants to cry about it when they dont even try to win I laugh. But Oakland and Minny have somehow put together teams that consistantly have no payroll, but are stocked with good young talent. Those are the teams that should bitch about payroll more than anyone.
