Yeah, I wasn't trying to single you out. And actually HGH reopens bone growth plates and increases intestine size more than builds lean muscle. Its also very expensive and has a synergistic effect with roids and insulin. Insulin is probably the most dangerous thing and very anabolic. Reading some of the literature about steroids that is written for bodybuilders will help understanding, though most athletes use dosages that're way too high as athletic performance can be improved very easily with relatively small doses vs. the benefit you'll see from a small does to get an absurd level of muscular development that some people exhibit.

The level of knowledge about juice in baseball is very poor. Then again citing a book in a national article titled "Steroid Underground" isn't exactly going to lend itself to credibility regardless of validity.
