This is mindboggling. I don't see how something like surgery to repair a broken tendon or to fix a rotator cuff can be put in the same category as taking roids to improve performance. Nor do I see how you guys can consider Bonds to be one of the greatest players ever; one of the best pure hitters, possibly.

If you're going to tell me he looks bigger now because a human being carries more mass as they age, you've got to get a reality check. The guy has taken drugs, might still be taking them, and he's doing a disservice to his teammates, the league, and the fans by pumping up on whatever he takes. I may not know entirely how all these drugs work, but this is just wrong. It shouldn't be about taking drugs when they're not banned just to get an edge.
