Thankfully you don't work at Party. What if you're bluffing and they treat a genuine disconnection as a call, you lose the pot? What if you flop nothing & someone goes all-in and you have a genuine disconnection, you lose your stack!
Just get rid of DP.

what i meant was the pot would automatically go to the victim whether the cards held up or not.
Either that, or the money the villain (literally in this case!) has comitted to the pot (so in this case it would be the $120ish in the AQ hand) would automatically go the victim. I think this is the best idea actually, cos it does allow for genuined disconnects. So say if the villain had sucked out on me in that hand...the $120 would go to me. Obv i'd like the full $400, but the money already in the pot would be a decent compromise.
