Johnny, I think that your stories are fascinating and if there are embellishments, they are forgivable. Heck, even the Bible has embellishments (Methuslah living 900 years? The WHOLE WORLD flooding? come on).
I admire Mason for his knowledge and business sense. I wouldn't want to take sides in some stupid pissing match over some stories. I hope you continue to post these tales that are part of the early history of holdem. I also hope that Mason will add to and refute some of the facts. That would be like watching a movie and reading a history book.
I doubt that Mason was impuning your character. Perhaps he was just being the loveable nit that he is. Please don't interpolate that as being called a liar.
As for the other guy whoever he is, maybe it's one of those Kansas City robbers or their relations. Maybe you know who it is. I don't know. Unless he/she can come up with some credible facts, their words are inimportant and I don't hear them. Screw'em.
